La Tate Gallery a mis en ligne un très bel exemple de documentation portant sur une installation vidéo complexe. Il s'agit d'une oeuvre de Bruce Nauman, MAPPING THE STUDIO II with color shift, flip, flop, & flip/flop (Fat Chance John Cage), 2001. Cette documentation très complète comprend de nombreuses informations techniques. On y retrouve des entrevues avec l'artiste, un assistant (Michael Short), avec la restauratrice du Tate (Pip Laurenson) ainsi que des schémas techniques, une documentation vidéo de l'oeuvre et des extraits sonores. The Tate has made available online a very good example of complex video installations documentation. The artwork is Bruce Nauman's MAPPING THE STUDIO II with color shift, flip, flop, & flip/flop (Fat Chance John Cage), 2001. The very rich documentation includes technical information. There are also interviews with the artist, an assistant (Michael Short), and the Tate's Conservator (Pip Laurenson), as well as technical diagrams, video documentation and sound excerpts. | |
