... However descriptions of that experience, either first or second hand, written or recorded are rarely prioritised in the documentation of the work. This talk outlines a research project which will champion the central role of human experience in the way we research and document such artworks. The research will investigate how audience experience has been preserved in existing material held by the Daniel Langlois Foundation Centre for Research and Documentation. It will propose ways in which experiential material can be made accessible to artists, curators and researchers in innovative ways.
